A directed Study Thesis: In the Spring/Summer of 2003 I have been working on getting acquainted with the methods introduced by Jean Ginibre for dealing with non-hermitian random matrices. This thesis is a close study of Jean Ginibre's 1964 paper on the Statistical Ensembles of Complex, Quartenion, and Real Matrices which appeared in the Journal of Mathematical Physics.
REU Works from the Summer 2003: Here I apply the Random Matrix methods of Ginibre to obtaining a joint probability density function for the configurational one component plasma for inverse temperature, b = 4.
