Project Description
| We are interested in the generation of three dimensional patterns from flat sheet of materials without cutting any parts of the sheet. Rutgers currently has a machine that will fold flat sheets in to three dimensional patterns in a continuous manner. We will look for new patters that have applications in packaging and solar energy capture. Ultimately we will look for ways to modify folding machine so that it works on our new patterns. |
