Project: Error Bounds for the Approximation to Solutions of the Schrodinger Equation

Project Description:

We here attempt to approximate the motion of a solution to the Schrodinger equation on some finite domain by the common practice of introducing an imaginary "potential" into the equation . More importantly, error bounds for the difference in the actual solution in the domain and this approximate solution will be found, thus evidencing some sort of validity to the method.
